Los Angeles: Dancing With the Stars season 34 entered its final stretch Tuesday night with a high-energy Prince tribute during the semi-finals. Contestants performed two competitive routines — one ballroom style they previously learned and another in a new dance form — both set to iconic tracks by the late music legend.
With just one week left before the new champion is crowned, the remaining celebrity lineup includes Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt, social media personality Alix Earle, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, The Traitors winner Dylan Efron, actress Elaine Hendrix, and wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin.
The night featured a special moment as Hollywood star Zac Efron attended a live taping for the first time to support his brother, Dylan Efron. On the dance floor, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson topped the leaderboard early, becoming the only pair in Round 1 to secure a perfect 30/30 score.
Round 2 turned the competition even tighter, with Elaine Hendrix and Alix Earle both delivering flawless routines to earn perfect 30/30 scores. With the finale just days away, the chase for the mirrorball trophy has become more unpredictable than ever.
Last week’s 20th Birthday Party-themed episode brought its own excitement, featuring the guest judge debut of former host Tom Bergeron. The night delivered multiple perfect scores, earned by Robert & Witney Carson, Dylan & Daniella Karagach, Alix & Val Chmerkovskiy, and Whitney & Mark Ballas.
Viewer votes continue to play a major role, as the couple with the lowest combined score of judges’ points and live audience votes is eliminated each week. Voting remains open during the East Coast broadcast and closes shortly after the final performance.
