On Tuesday, the estimated $1.1 billion Mega Millions jackpot winning numbers – which will be one of the biggest prizes in lottery history – were drawn.

The numbers are 8, 24, 30, 45, 61, and the Mega Ball is 12.

The lottery stated that if won, the jackpot could be the fourth-largest prize in Mega Millions history.

After no tickets matched all six numbers drawn on Friday night, the jackpot has surpassed $1 billion. According to Mega Millions, Tuesday’s drawing will be the 30th since the jackpot was last won on April 18 in New York.

However, on Friday, nobody won the jackpot, yet there were some significant winners from the drawing. One ticket sold in Pennsylvania matched the first five numbers and activated the optional Megaplier, winning $5 million, which is available as an additional $1 purchase in most states.

Four additional tickets were sold that matched the first five numbers to win $1 million each in Arizona, California, New York, and Pennsylvania.

The top Mega Millions jackpot won till 2018 in South Carolina was $1.537 billion. After that, a $1.348 billion ticket was sold in January, and a $1.337 billion prize was won in the previous July.

On Tuesday night’s drawing, the fourth-largest prize in Mega Millions history, worth $1.05 billion, was won through a ticket sold in Michigan in 2021.

After matching all the numbers on a Powerball ticket sold at a convenience store in Los Angeles, Mega Millions drew for the third-largest jackpot on Tuesday – a $1.08 billion prize.
