“I want to say about what just happened, I only care about keeping everyone safe,” he said in a video shared by a fan. “So if you ever feel unsafe, please tell someone around you. Tonight, safety is everywhere.”
At the beginning of this month in Vienna, during his music performance, Harry Styles was seen wincing in pain after being hit by an object. It’s not clear what exactly happened, but Styles was seen holding his head in his hands in the fan video, seemingly injured while walking outside the stage.
This was the second time Styles was injured during the “Love On Tour” performance. Last year, he was hit by a Skittles candy thrown at him, and Skittles responded with an advertisement in the Los Angeles Times, urging people not to throw candy.
Brittney Griner, the Olympic gold medalist and experienced WNBA All-Star, will not be traveling with the team on their upcoming two-game road trip to Chicago and Indiana (July 30th to August 1st) to focus on her mental health. The team fully supports Brittney, and they will continue to work together to facilitate her return. Earlier this year, Griner returned to the league after being released from detention in Russia, where she had been held for nearly 10 months on drug charges before being exchanged for a high-profile detainee accused of being a former U.S. arms dealer in December.
Griner returned home after a few months and re-signed with the Phoenix Mercury, the team she played for before her incarceration. She recorded her first official game-time appearance of the season when she played against the Los Angeles Sparks in May. Almost a month later, Griner played her first All-Star game after her comeback.
According to CNN’s report, Griner said to the crowd after the All-Star game, ‘This means everything to me.’ Honestly, I didn’t think I would be here today, but everyone has been sending letters, love, and posting about it. I’m still seeing everything that everyone did. It really means a lot to me; it gave me hope, and it made me not want to give up on anything, so this league was the one that helped me.”
